Improve Critical Enterprise Communications with a Highly-Secure Messaging Platform

HipLink is committed to providing BlackBerry users with the most secure and feature rich solution in the market place. Our native BlackBerry app was developed specifically for high-level BlackBerry customers in regulated industries where security and privacy are of prime importance, including healthcare, public safety, and IT.
In every organization, rapid communication is a top priority. However, highly regulated and security-minded organizations face even greater challenges as they move from pagers and radios to integrated messaging through smartphones.
Such organizations don’t send your typical texts. Instead, they require sophisticated communications that allow them to rapidly disseminate critical information and verify that messages are received and responded to.
During emergencies, large organizations must manage messages to multiple locations both inside and outside their facilities. Messaging systems must be two-way, allowing recipients to send automated responses or call back for clarification and updates.
And all of this must happen through recipients’ personal devices.
Filling the gap in high-security messaging
In partnership with BlackBerry, HipLink developers built the HipLink Mobile for BlackBerry app, using native code to enable the app to run on the BlackBerry 10 platform.
This wireless text and voice notification solution enables organizations to reliably send targeted text or voice messages to one person, small groups, or thousands of people. Users can chat through a secure interface, send messages to other devices or desktops, and even send images, attachments, and location data.
Advanced administration options allow granular control of connected devices. The app leverages BES and Secure Work space for superior control. Administration and management features allow system administrators to draft messages, query phones, and define alert tones to indicate message urgency.
Automated features such as persistent alerts, messaging reminders, and automatic message expiry/deletion ease the administrative task load. Two-way notification lets message senders and recipients communicate on an individual level, and a mass notification (Emergency Channel) feature enables immediate alerts to every desktop and mobile device during response to a crisis.
Security first and always
Regardless of functionality, users in highly-regulated industries must be able to share information and receive critical alerts and other types of information with confidence that security will not be breached or compromised.
HipLink Mobile on BlackBerry 10 supports the MDS Connection Service, which allows data traffic to be routed through multiple secure and approved channels. Most other secure communication apps in the market support only one secure channel.
But HipLink Mobile for BlackBerry goes even deeper into security. The app integrates robust layers of security protocols and cryptographic algorithms according to Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) standards and the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). This level of encryption ensures confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity for HIPAA and CJIS compliance.
Best of all, the app is available for a wide variety of end-user devices. Based on the QNX operating system (popular in industrial computers and used in many car computers), BlackBerry 10 is the operating system driving the most popular BlackBerry smartphone models, including the Z30, Z10, Z3, Q10, Q5, P’9982, P’9983, BlackBerry Passport, BlackBerry Classic, and BlackBerry Leap.
