A new look using tools you already understand

HipLink 5.0 features a completely redesigned GUI interface. The look and feel of the product has been enhanced to make it easier for users to quickly understand how to use features and to make it even faster to get new users up to speed.

This interface is based on a true Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern, which allows users to interact with data through a highly intuitive menu and screen design that uses common functionality that users are familiar with. For example, the new mega menu mimics the look of modern websites, using tabs to make navigation easy. Users can find what they need quickly, and information they don’t need is hidden. The result is a screen that is uncluttered and easy to navigate.

Reach thousands in the blink of an eye

HipLink is frequently used to communicate with thousands of individuals, so it is designed to load quickly and enable fast searches.

HipLink 5.0’s new interface runs on a CGI back-end architecture that is supported by a highly scalable Web services platform. What that means is that the front end (the view that users see) is a single page Web app in which all the panels are loaded dynamically, eliminating the need to wait for pages to load. Faster performance of the product means users spend less time waiting to view screens, and communication happens even faster. In addition, because the HipLink 5.0 front end is completely separate from the back end, turnaround time for creating additional new UI features is also reduced.

The customizable dashboard provides a quick snapshot of the information you need to see most often. You can set up the dashboard to display summary information at a glance and quickly select data to drill down deeper when you need to take a closer look at the details.

Stay on top of message status

HipLink offers a variety of features to allow users to customize sends, and the new send panel in HipLink 5.0 provides multiple ways to organize and neatly display messages. The panel also allows users to expand menus to find tools and information they need, and collapse those menus to remove clutter from the screen.

Advanced features allow users to sort messages by severity, importance, or expiration time, and color coding allows users to quickly zero in on their most urgent messages.

HipLink 5.0 has been through a complete beta testing program and was officially released in July 2015.
